| I was trapped one day among these smokers In the heart of this advanced capital City Every person is so health conscious here Everyone is all right, educated and smart All are working at these high offices But are not at all bothered of others Who does not smoke, but are helpless among them I am just one of them who doesn’t smoke here We are now being killed by this people Kill themselves and us by inhaling smoke Those evil fumes come out of the cigarettes Blow it then out to the rest of the world They’re tied themselves at the tip of their smokes This end is straight on my face and my nose ! Governments ban public smoking, who cares ! “We have got all rights to smoke here and die” !! “It is my right to smoke, my right to die If you charge me, I’m more than happy That you acknowledge my will, my death wish, If you fine me, I don’t care, I am fine” he says Smoking is not that cheap, costs a fortune I heard them say in the past in secret One cigarette can feed a family Not in our land, in those ‘third world countries’ Pack of smoke costs about forty dollars in 2019 Of which they can feed a household of four For more than a week in those poor countries It is not easy to calculate so, who cares !! I’m not here to say stop, send those money ! Stay healthy as you live in this terrain I don’t now care what you do to yourself But do care when you smoke to kill me off !! |
